About R

R's interests in music exist primarily in the realm of composition, and the theory, technique, musicology, and experimentalism that encompass compositions of both past and present.

 

Under composer Dr. Avner Dorman, they are extending their knowledge and experience and are writing various compositional works in differing eccentric and classical styles.

Further experience in music includes extensive studying and performance on the violin. Under violinist Dr. Elly Toyoda and conductor Dr. Cesar Leal, they are learning and understanding to a great extent the wide, wide world of music, theory, and performance. R has performed with many orchestras to various degrees and looks forward to the future of performing, particularly on new compositional works and with local orchestras.

Typesetting is a new interest and undertaking in R's career, particularly through the Agnes Tyrrell project. R hopes to continue to bring to light the unpublished works of various composers of the past, and believes wholeheartedly that there exists great value in the works of all composers, even and especially in the composers whom are often overlooked in the world of music history, musicology, and ethnomusicology.
